Rev. Mark J. Noonan has been appointed as Parochial Vicar at Saint Amelia Parish, Tonawanda NY, for a term of three years. Effective May 9, 2008.

Rev. Czeslaw Krysa has been appointed as Pastor of Saints Hyacinth and Hedwig Parish, Dunkirk NY (to be formed by the merging of Saint Hyacinth Parish, Dunkirk NY, and Saint Hedwig Parish, Dunkirk NY), for a term of six years. Effective May 30, 2008.

Rev. Joseph P. Janaczek has been appointed as Pastor of Our Lady of Loreto Parish, Falconer NY, and Saint Patrick Parish, Randolph NY, for a term of six years. Effective May 30, 2008.

Rev. Robert A. Stolinski has been appointed as Parochial Administrator of Saint James Parish, Jamestown NY (to be formed by the merging of Saint James Parish, Jamestown NY, and Our Lady of Victory Parish, Frewsburg NY), for a term of six years. Effective June 1, 2008.

Rev. Michael R. Rock, OdeM., has been appointed to the additional responsibility of Pastor at St. Brigid Parish, Bergen NY. He continues as Pastor of St. Peter Parish, Leroy NY, and Temporary Administrator at St. Joseph Parish, Leroy NY, as well as Canonical Administrator of Holy Family School, Leroy NY. Effective March 17, 2008.

Rev. Sean E. DiMaria has been appointed as Pastor of Saints Brendan and Jude Parish, Almond NY, and Blessed Sacrament Parish, Andover NY, for a term of six years. Effective May 31, 2008.

Rev. James W. Fliss, has been appointed as Pastor of Saint Anthony Parish, Farnham NY (to be formed by the merging of Saint Anthony Parish, Farnham NY, and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Brant NY), for a term of six years. Effective July 27, 2008.

Rev. Francis Schimsheiner, OSFS, has been appointed as Parochial Vicar at All Saints Parish, Lockport NY. Effective April 2, 2008.

Rev. Dennis W. Mende has been appointed Pastor of Holy Apostles Parish, Jamestown NY (to be formed by the merging of Saints Peter & Paul and Saint John Parishes), for a term of six years. Effective June 1, 2008.

Rev. Joseph E. Vatter has been appointed as Pastor of All Saints Parish, Lockport NY, for a term of six years. Effective April 19, 2008.

Deacon Thomas C. Licata has been assigned to diaconal ministry at Saint Gregory the Great Parish, Williamsville NY, for a term of three years. Effective February 22, 2008.

Rev. Richard DiGiulio has been appointed as Senior Parochial Vicar at Saint Bernadette Parish, Orchard Park NY, for a term of three years, with continuing responibility for Charismatic Renewal in the Diocese of Buffalo. Effective April 1, 2008.

Rev. Msgr. Joseph M. Dowdell has been appointed Pastor the new Sacred Heart Parish, Lakewood NY with worship sites at Sacred Heart Church (Lakewood) and Our Lady of the Snows Church (Panama), for a term of six years. Effective May 30, 2008.

Rev. Bernard U. Nowak has been appointed Pastor of Saint Mary Lourdes Parish, Mayville NY, for a term of six years. Saint Mary of Lourdes Parish has worship sites at Saint Mary Church (Mayville) and Our Lady of Lourdes (Bemus Point). He continues also as Pastor of Our Lady of the Snows (Panama) until May 30, 2008, Saint Isaac Jogues (Sherman), and Saint Matthias (French Creek) until the appointment of a new Pastor. Effective February 27, 2008.

Rev. David A. Bellittiere has been appointed Pastor of Holy Trinity Parish, Dunkirk NY, with sacramental ministry at to the Newman Center at SUNY-Fredonia, for a term of six years. Effective February 27, 2008.

Rev. Carlton J. Westfield has been appointed Pastor of Saint Anthony Parish, Fredonia NY, and Immaculate Conception Parish, Cassadaga NY, for a term of six years. Effective September 6, 2008.

Rev. Richard J. Cilano, has been given the additional responsibility of part-time Chaplain at the United Memorial Medical Center, Batavia NY. He continues as Pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish, East Bethany NY, and Saint Mary Parish, Pavilion NY. Effective March 30, 2008.

Rev. William R. Bigelow has been appointed Pastor of Saint Mary of the Lake Parish, Hamburg NY, for a term of six years. Effective February 11, 2008.

Rev. John F. Kasprzak has been appointed as Pastor of Queen of Angels Parish, Lackawanna NY, being formed by the merging of Saint Michael (Lackawanna), Saint Barbara (Lackawanna), and Our Lady of Grace (Woodlawn) as of 2/16/2008, and Saint Hyacinth (Lackawanna) as of 3/31/2008 for a term of six years. Effective February 16, 2008.

Deacon John M. Ruh has been assigned to diaconal ministry at Queen of Heaven Parish, West Seneca NY, for a term of three years. Effective January 31, 2008.

Deacon Gary C. Terrana has been assigned to diaconal ministry at Saint Albert the Great Parish, North Tonawanda NY, for a term of three years. He also continues as Director of Pastoral Care at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.Effective February 13, 2008.

Rev. Slawomir Siok, SAC, has been appointed as Pastor of the Parish to be formed by the merging of Saint John de LaSalle and Saint Charles Borromeo Parishes, Niagara Falls NY, for a term of six years. Effective July 1, 2008.

Rev. James F. Hassett has been appointed as Pastor of Saint Patrick Parish, Barker NY, and Saint Joseph Parish, Lyndonville NY, for a term of six years. Effective March 31, 2008.

Rev. Arthur E. Mattulke has been appointed as Pastor of Saint Cecilia Parish, Oakfield NY, and Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Elba NY, for a term of six years. Effective March 31, 2008.

Rev. Duane R. Klizek has been appointed Pastor of the new parish to be formed by the merging of Saint Joseph and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parishes, Niagara Falls NY, for a term of six years. Effective July 1, 2008.

Rev. Steward Lindsay, OSFS, has been appointed as Parochial Vicar at the new parish to be formed by the merging of Saint Joseph and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parishes, Niagara Falls NY, for a term of six years. Effective July 1, 2008.

Rev. Eugene P. Slomba has been appointed Pastor of the new parish to be formed by the merging of Saint Anthony and Sacred Heart Parishes, Batavia NY, for a term of six years. Effective March 31, 2008.

Rev. Ivan Skenderovic has been appointed Pastor of Saint Raphael Parish, Niagara Falls NY (to be formed by the merging of Saint Teresa of the Infant Jesus and Sacred Heart Parishes), for a term of six years. Effective March 31, 2008.

Rev. James R. Bastian has been appointed to the additional responsibility of part-time Chaplain at the Niagara Falls Air Base. He continues as Pastor of Saint Bonaventure Parish, West Seneca NY, and Saint William Parish, West Seneca. Effective January 1, 2008.

Rev. Jacek P. Mazur has been appointed Pastor of Divine Mercy Parish, Niagara Falls NY (to be formed by the merging of Saint Stanislaus, Holy Trinity, Saint George, Our Lady of the Rosary, and Our Lady of Lebanon Parishes), for a term of six years. Effective March 8, 2008.

Rev. Ivan R. Trujillo has been reappointed as Parochial Vicar at the new parish to be fomed by the merging of Saint Mary and Saint Joseph Parishes, Batavia NY, for a term of three years. Effective January 7, 2008.

Rev. James A. Waite has been appointed Pastor of Saint John the Baptist Parish, Lockport NY, for a term of six years. Effective June 21, 2008.

Rev. Dennis G. Riter has been appointed Pastor of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Dunkirk NY, for a term of six years. Effective February 9, 2008.

Rev. Paul D. Seil has been appointed Pastor of Saint Bernadette Parish, Orchard Park NY, for a term of six years. Effective February 1, 2008.

Rev. Daniel P. Walsh has been reappointed pastor of Saint Joseph Parish, Gowanda NY, with oversight and sacramental ministry also at Saint Mary Parish, Cattaraugus NY, for a term of six years. Effective December 17, 2007.

Rev. Piotr F. Zaczynski has been appointed as Pastor of newly merged Our Lady of Peace Parish, Salamanca NY, for a term of six years. Effective December 14, 2007.
