Journey in Faith and Grace

The Journey in Faith and GraceThe Journey in Faith and Grace, the parish revitalization and reorganization program, was launched by Bishop Edward U. Kmiec in June 2005.  As a result, new faith communities were born and parishes continue to work acitvely to engage current and new parishioners.

May 24, 2005 - Parish merger before official start of the Journey:  Immaculate Conception and Holy Cross parishes in Buffalo

October 11, 2006 - First parish merger approved:  St. Martin Parish in Langford, St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish in New Oregon and St. Frances Cabrini Parish in Collins Center

March 11, 2007 - First 10 parishes from various parts of the diocese
