ORDINATION-INSTALLATION
Bishop Kmiec (pronounced Kim’-mick) was ordained to the priesthood on December 20, 1961, and to the episcopacy on November 3, 1982. He served as the auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Trenton, 1982-1992, and was installed as the 10th bishop of Nashville on December 3, 1992. Bishop Kmiec was installed as the 13th bishop of Buffalo on October 28, 2004.
