Show your CT pride and wear your t-shirts, sweatshirts AND anything you made at camp too!!!!Contact CampTurner at gmail if you need a new t-shirt or sweatshirt. We will mail order from the Canteen! January 13, 2012 - The Can-Am Trappers Special Dog Sled Races will be held January 28th and 29th! The public is invited to watch the Dog Sled races January 28 & 29 beginning and ending at Camp Turner. Warm up and buy refreshments in the Camp Turner Dining Hall. (Trappers Special Dog Sled Races, demos, visit with the racers.) October 1, 2011 - WinterCamp 2011 will be held from Wednesday, December 28 thru Friday, December 30. The Early Bird Registration Discount ends on Halloween!!!! WinterCamp is a three day, two night event that is ideal for first time campers! A round trip bus is available with stops in Hamburg and Williamsville. Our fully trained Summer 2011 staff return to run activities including a sledding trip, cool wintry crafts, hiking, snowshoeing, snow foxfire, nature, snow sculpting, floor hockey, a Holiday dance, bonfire and much more. July 12, 2011 - Bagley Open to benefit Friends of Camp Turner The Friends of Camp Turner, Inc. has been chosen to be the beneficiary of proceeds from the 2011 “Bagley Open Golf Tournament”. Please join us on August 17 at Deerwood Golf Course and Classics V for a wonderful event to benefit a wonderful cause! Help send a kid to camp!!!! More Info on the Bagley Open/ May 15, 2011 - Age limits expanded for CIT and LIT programs On May 15, fifteen year olds are eligible to register for the 2 week CIT program (including the backpacking trip).... AND the LIT program (Sessions C-F) opens to 16 yr olds. May 1, 2011 - Announcing One-Way Bus service home from camp every Friday! The one way bus from Camp will depart at approx. 6 pm on Fridays each week. It should drop off at the Hamburg Stop at approximately 7:15 PM. If parents are prompt we should reach the Williamsville stop shortly after 8:00 PM. Times may vary due to traffic or departure delays. The Hamburg Stop is at Ollie's Plaza - 600 South Park Ave. in Hamburg, NY. The Williamsville Stop is at Top's Plaza - 5274 Main Street (Corner of Main and Union) April 15, 2011 - WinterCamp 2011!
