Plymouth Pilgrim village, a reproduction of the Mayflower, an interactive gallery exhibit which explores the history of the two cultures which inhabited Plymouth Colony during its seventy-two years of existence, and more. The Plymouth Plantation is located in Plymouth Massachusetts, but they've done an admirable job of loading images in information for web surfers.

State Archives' On-Line Catalog, Excelsior

This site provides a fully-searchable index to all of the records series preserved in the State Archives. You can also search the database of the New York State Historic Documents Inventory. You can search for records via keyword, creating agency or government, and by subject.

US Trek (K - 12)

A team of eight educators is conducting a "US Trek" to visit historic places, interview historic figures, and meet experts in US history.  The Trek is documented twice a week in lively text, pictures, audio and video on the US Trek website for you and your students to follow along and interact with the Team Members and each other - all for free, any time. Historic video and audio clips will also be made available.

The U.S. Department of Education has published the "Survival Guide for New Teachers" online.  This web site offers tips, anecdotes and practical advice on a variety of topics, including how to work with veteran teachers, parents, principals and college and university professors.  Samples of subtopics include dealing with "disinterested parents," professional development, discipline and "the negative side of the veteran teacher equation."  The site also includes links to other resources and organizations that can help.
