Homework Help Is On the Way!

Check out these amazing sites for your students!  Martin Sargent, Tech TV host, searched the Internet for the best sites to help students overcome the homework blues.  They never had this kind of stuff when we were kids!

  1. BigChalk -- Big Chalk is a massive resource covering every imaginable subject. With over 100,000 links, it provides resources for students at every grade level, elementary school through high school. Each link leads to a large selection of subtopics. Select a subject and age group to browse hundreds of resources or search for selections that match your keyword.

  2. BJ Pinchbeck's Homework Helper -- BJ Pinchbeck is 14 years old. In 1996, with the help of his dad, this homework wizard started building a collection of helpful homework links at bjpinchbeck.com . Today, his collection resides at DiscoverySchool.com and includes more than 700 links for everything from math to gym class.

  3. Multnomah County Library -- The librarians in Multnomah County, Oregon, do an amazing job of bringing together homework resources. Tap into this no-frills topical guide for sites on everything from animals to social issues. The library also provides helpful advice on evaluating websites and using search engines.

  4. Jiskha Homework Help -- Ask your homework questions to Jiskha Homework Help. The homework help forums are a wonderful resource, as are all the wonderfully written, interesting articles covering an extensive range of subjects that are posted on the site.

  5. Help from the Big Guys -- Check out AOL's homework resources. Choose your grade and subject, and you'll receive a list of helpful resources. Yahoo's Yahooligans division also offers an extensive directory of sites you can use to research your projects.
