the way Jesus taught, the Department of Catholic Education is dedicated
to those entrusted with the responsibility of instilling Catholic faith
and values in members of our Diocesan Family.
We
offer parishes and schools both leadership and support for the
educational ministry they conduct through the following goals:
Leadership

To
provide opportunities for spiritual and intellectual growth for
administrators, teachers and catechists

promote Catholic Identity in our schools, parish religious education
programs and other diocesan institutions.

Support

To
ensure the continued availability of excellent Catholic education in
our schools and parish programs

To
serve as resource persons to pastors/canonical administrators,
school and parish catechetical administrators and other diocesan
departments in matters of education

To
provide directives and guidelines, including curricula, to ensure
consistent and effective program management across the
diocese.
