A special healing service consisting of Mass and
reconciliation for those who have experienced the loss of a child through
abortion, miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS or any other means, will be held on Tuesday,
Dec. 12, at 7 p.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Parish, 66 East Main St.,
Hamburg. Friends, relatives and
grandparents are also welcome.
The intention of the Mass, held on the feast day of
Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of the unborn, is to help those who are
grieving to cope with their grief through the eyes of faith, to allow the
participants to open themselves to receiving the healing grace of God and to
find peace with themselves, their babies, the church and God.
