iSERVE: Calling Young
Adults
Young adults in their 20s and 30s with an interest in and
potential for parish ministry are invited to participate in the iSERVE program. It will foster a deeper understanding of
one’s gifts and the leadership skills needed for the Catholic Church of the new
millennium. Church leadership skills, diversity training, and other learning
opportunities will prepare young adults for effective lay leadership within our
parish communities.
The purpose of iSERVE is to help
young adults discern God’s call in their lives. If you have ever wondered how
you can best share your gifts and talents with the church, then come to an iSEEK gathering to be held in multiple
locations across the diocese. At iSEEK you
will have time to reflect upon service and have an opportunity to learn more
about Church leadership. In addition, an overview of the iSERVE
program will be provided. There is no cost to attend an iSEEK
gathering.
