Cardinal Egan names Keenan to Catholic post

Cardinal Edward Egan, archbishop of New York, has appointed diocesan communications director Kevin Keenan to serve as an at-large member of the Public Policy Committee of the New York State Catholic Conference.

The PPC is the principal advisory group to the Catholic bishops of New York state on matters of public policy.

Keenan is also chairman of the committee of diocesan communications directors in the state.
