A Story from Black Rock wins Videographer Award

Daybreak TV Productions has been honored with an Award of Distinction from the Videographer Awards for the production of A Story from Black Rock.

This 10-minute video first played at the 2007 Celebrate Catholic Education Dinner last January.  A Story from Black Rock offers a glimpse into one local Catholic school’s struggle and success. With interviews from the principal, teachers and pastor of Our Lady of Black Rock, this inspiring video serves as one example of what it takes to keep a Catholic school afloat in a rapidly changing society.

“It was a pleasure working with Daybreak,” said Carol Kostyniak, secretary of Catholic Education.  “They understood the story from the first moment and showed it in the best light possible.”

The Videographer Award is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.  Winning the Award of Distinction is a tremendous achievement that signifies excellence in video production.  A Story from Black Rock was among 2,000 entries and won in the religious/fund-raising category.
