St. Martin de Porres to hold REVIVAL 2007:

BEING A STRONG SIGN FOR ALL

 

 

 

(Buffalo, NY) – St. Martin de Porres Roman Catholic Church will hold Revival 2007: Being a Strong Sign for All on Thursday, Nov. 1, through Sunday, Nov. 4.  This spiritual renewal will take place at St. Martin de Porres Church, 555 Northampton St., Buffalo, 14208, beginning at 6:30 p.m. each day.  Sunday’s closing Mass is scheduled at 9:30 a.m.  The guest revivalist is Father Fernand Cheri III, O.F.M., a native of New Orleans currently residing in Belleville, Ill.

 

The revival opening on Thursday, Nov. 1, will commence with praise and worship and a Mass celebrating the Feast of All Saints.  Friday (Nov. 2) evening’s events, designated as YOUTH NIGHT, will be filled with praise and worship, and will incorporate guest musicians and other friends of St. Martin de Porres.  Saturday, Nov. 3, will begin with a special 4:30 p.m. Mass to include anointing of the sick, followed by praise and worship at 6:30 p.m. and the guest revivalist. 

 

Revival 2007 will conclude Sunday, Nov. 4, with a 9:30 a.m. Mass in honor of the parish feast day.  Father Cheri will be the celebrant and the St. Martin de Porres Gospel Choir will perform. 

 

The public is invited to attend to what promises to be an awakening of the spirit, mind, and body!
