Buffalo parish names director of mission advancement

Father Jacob C. Ledwon, pastor of St. Joseph University parish has announced the appointment of David J. Sampson, CFRE, as director of mission advancement for the parish. Sampson, who previously held positions in the advancement office at St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute, Kenmore, will be responsible for resource development in support of the ministries of the parish and school.

An Amherst resident, Sampson has bachelor of arts degree in history from the State University of New York College at Geneseo and pursued graduate studies in business administration at the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Sampson is a past president of the board of directors for the Western New York Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Executives (AFP) and currently is a member of the grant review committee for Ronald McDonald House Charities in Buffalo.
