the Diocese of Buffalo continues in its Journey in Faith and Grace, the
strategic planning initiative to outline the future of the Church in Western

issues. Sherry will be taking care of
the day-to-day operations of the seminary allowing Father Siepka
to spend more time working with the seminarians and taking a greater role in
the public relations efforts of the seminary, especially in terms of
development and recruitment.
“I am so happy that Mr. Sherry has accepted this
position that will strengthen the work of the seminary,” Father Siepka said. “This
will allow me to spend more time working with our seminarians, collaborating
with our friends and benefactors and dealing with other important issues that I
have been asked to address as president and rector of the seminary.”

“I spent 25 years
learning how to serve the needs of others as a police officer. God-willing, I
hope to spend another 25 years serving the needs of the Church in whatever way
I am afforded the opportunity to do so,” Sherry stated.
