Bishop Grosz to celebrate Martin Luther King Mass

The Diocese of Buffalo will mark the observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday with a special Mass and celebration on Monday, January 21. The Mass, which is open to all, will be at 1 p.m. at St. Ann Church, Broadway at Emslie St., Buffalo.  Bishop Edward M. Grosz, auxiliary bishop of Buffalo, will be the celebrant and Father David Jones of the Archdiocese of Chicago will be the guest homilist.

This year’s Mass will be followed by a celebration program of talent and inspiration and will include youth group performers, poetry reading, dance and music.

A joint choir, under the direction of Jackie Peoples, will provide music for the celebration.
