Gram’s Chili
3 Slices of Bacon
1 medium onion
1 pound ground beef
1 cove garlic
3 Tbsp. vinegar
1 20 oz. can crushed tomatoes
2 tsp. chili powder
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 can tomato paste
1 15.5 oz. can dark red kidney beans with liquid
Cut up bacon and brown in large pot, leave drippings. Add onions, sauté until tender.
Add ground beef, brown lightly. Add
remaining ingredients and fluid from beans save beans and simmer for several
hours. Add beans and cook 30
minutes longer.
Heavenly Hash
4 20 oz. cans of crushed pineapple with juice
1 bag mini marshmallows
Combine and refrigerate overnight. Just
before serving whip 2 pints of heavy cream.
Fold in and enjoy.
