The Development Office for the Diocese of Buffalo serves as the fundraising office for financial resource development and initiatives as directed by Bishop Edward U. Kmiec.  The office also assists in resource development for parishes, Catholic schools and other diocesan projects at the discretion of the Bishop.

The Development Office is responsible for conducting the Annual Campaign for Catholic Education as well as providing on going support for the Stewardship in Faith program. Assistance in school development is provided in areas including, formation of development committees and programs, recruitment, alumni programs, case statements, public relations and marketing and support of grant writing initiatives. Parish development topics include Stewardship. Planned Giving, Estate Planning, Leadership Giving and Majors Gifts. The Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo

The Diocesan Development Office is also responsible for the Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo, Inc. The Foundation is a non-profit entity which acquires, administers and distributes funds to benefit the education, religious and charitable needs of the Diocese of Buffalo. Working with the donor we provide responsible and professional financial management of funds while helping donors achieve their charitable and financial goals.

The Foundation is dedicated to all programs within the Diocese, existing and upcoming: from renovating churches to feeding the homeless to scholarships for children. The Foundation is about finding ways to support Catholic Education, parish needs, our youth, our poor, our seniors…our faith.

Just as there are many programs to support through the Foundation, there are many ways you can provide your support.
