Regional retreats or workshops, listening sessions and annual conferences
will be offered to meet the above goals.
Why a Diocesan Association for Lay Ministry?

This Diocesan Association is a chapter of the National Association for
Lay Ministry (N.A.L.M.)

Our mission is to support, educate and advocate for lay ministers and
promote the development of lay ministry in the Catholic Church.

Together, lay ministers are energized and strengthened as we share in
the mission of the Church to transform the world.

Membership in the Diocesan Association for Lay Ministry (D.A.L.M.) is
open to all persons involved in lay ministry in the Diocese of Buffalo,
whether volunteer or salaried, and any person interested in the stated
purpose of this association.

Membership in the National Association is strongly encouraged. DALM members
receive a reduced membership fee for NALM. For more information on NALM

****Note: An invitation is extended to all interested in lay ministry to
attend the Spring Meeting of the Diocesan Association for Lay Ministry on
Thursday, June 10, 2004 at Carmine's Italian Restaurant, 4715 Transit Road,
Williamsville, NY. The cost is $15.00. Dinner will begin at 6:00 p.m.
followed by a short meeting at 7:00 p.m., and scheduled from 7:30 - 9:00
p.m. is an evening of reflection - Re-Create Us, O Lord. Sometimes we need
to be reminded of the "receiving" part of ministry. Join us as we
reflect on the ongoing re-creation of the Spirit and open ourselves to the
Eternal Loving Presence of "I AM." (Facilitated by Eleanor Ash.) Deadline
for reservations is May 27, 2004. Send your check made payable
to the Office of Church Ministry along with your name, address and telephone
