This department is primarily responsible for the systematic monitoring of emerging demographic and organization trends which will influence future church planning and provides assistance in specific planning efforts on the parish, vicariate and diocesan levels. In addition, the department gathers and interprets historical and statistical information pertinent to the Diocese, individual parishes and other Catholic institutions.
