Eucharistic Adoration

What is Eucharistic Adoration?

The Blessed Sacrament, which is consecrated during the Mass, is displayed in a special vessel called a monstrance. The purpose of this practice is to offer worship, prayer, and contemplation before the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist.

Adoration can be done for a set period, such as during a scheduled hour or in a continuous manner known as “Perpetual Adoration,” where the Blessed Sacrament is exposed 24/7 and people sign up to pray at various times.
