Cafeteria Food Service Employee

Brief Job Description: We are seeking friendly candidates who would be able to work in our school cafeteria. Food preparation, serving, dishwashing, and sandwich/salad making would be part of the daily tasks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Candidates should be familiar with basic food preparation, be friendly, outgoing, and have good communication skills. Candidates must be able to lift 40 lbs.

Qualifications: Required Education/Experience:
• Cafeteria experience preferred, but not required.
• VIRTUS certified and background checked (can be completed during the hiring process)
• Food Safety Course (to be completed online if hired)
• High school diploma
• Experience working with young children

Salary: Starting at $15.50 / hour
