Director of Religious Education

Brief Job Description: The Director of Religious Education is responsible for Faith Formation of students from PreK – Grade 11. This is a full time position including summer programs and classes during the school year. Coordination of sacraments of Penance, First Eucharist and Confirmation for all parish children. Some weekends and evenings.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
-Coordinating and training all volunteer teachers.
-Coordinate the Sacraments of Reconciliation (Grade 2), First Communion (Grade 3) and Confirmation (Grade 11) Programs for All St. Amelia Parish Children.
-Also responsible for staffing and coordination of Summer program and Vacation Bible School.

Qualifications: Required Education/Experience:
-Minimum of five-year experience
-Degree in religious formation
-Knowledge of the Catholic Faith.

Desired Skills: Good communication skills and organization.

Salary: Range of $20 an hour to $25 an hour
