Faith Formation Assistant

Brief Job Description:
This part time position has varying hours. Generally this will be 12-15 hours a week including Sunday morning programming twice a month (September – April). Also hours may be added for sacramental events (First Communion, Confirmation, retreats etc.). Summer hours are few and flexible.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The person holding this position will maintain records, make copies, communicate with families, assist in the facilitation of programming and perform other duties necessary for the mission of the Faith Formation department.

Qualifications: Required Education/Experience:
• Have High School diploma or equivalent

Desired Skills:
-Candidates for this position should have good organization and communication skills.
-Familiarity with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
-Experience with Parish Data Systems software and Flocknote a plus.
– Light lifting involved such as carrying textbooks and supplies or setting up tables and chairs
– Flexible hours for this job during the week and summer can be worked around your children’s school schedule.

Salary: $14.50-16/hr.
