Full Charge Bookkeeper

Brief Job Description:
The successful candidate will among other duties: Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner as part of performing monthly close and financial statements. Perform account receivable functions including invoicing and depositing. Invoice and track tuition as well as weekly before- and after-school program billing.  Prepare and present financial statements.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3 to 5 years relevant experience working in accounting and bookkeeping.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger

Salary: Commensurate upon experience/education
Part time: 15 hours/week
