Long-Term Teacher Substitute , Gr. 1 and 2

Brief Job Description: This is a long -term substitute position, teaching a combined first- and second- grade class.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Work with the classroom teacher to plan lessons aligned with NYS and Diocesan curriculum guidelines
• Keep accurate records of attendance, lunch count, grades, transportation plans
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment

Qualifications: Required Education/Experience:
• Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Childhood Education
• At least 2 years of experience in primary grades preferred

• Ability to differentiate teaching, learning activities, and assessment

• Organization
• Classroom management skills
