Mathematics Teacher – Grades 9-12

Brief Job Description: Cardinal O’Hara High School is looking for a dedicated full-time Mathematics teacher for our co-educational Catholic high school. The successful candidate will have strong curriculum development skills and an ability to foster creativity in students; a broad knowledge in all aspects of mathematics instruction and classroom management techniques; and the ability to integrate faith and Catholic social teaching throughout the curriculum.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Maintaining a safe and cooperative learning environment
• Developing lessons, lesson plans and curriculum to meet the needs and interests of the students

Qualifications: Required Education/Experience:
• Minimally a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, education or a related field
• Pursuit of a Masters Degree

• Proficiency in applied technology in the field
