Brief Job Description: Southtowns Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and faith-filled general education teacher for a combined Grade3 and 4 classroom.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction in alignment with NYS curriculum standards and guidelines
• Create a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment
• Assess student progress and communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
• Collaborate with faculty and administration
• Support the Catholic identity, mission, and core values of Southtowns Catholic School
• Participate in school activities, professional development, and other responsibilities appropriate to the position
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Current NYS certification ( or working toward)
• Previous teaching experience is a plus
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Commitment to supporting the mission and Catholic identity of the school

• Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners

Salary: $29,000-$32,000 depending on credentials and experience
