Convocation of Catholic Leaders 2017

Bishop Richard J. Malone and a group of about 20 other local Catholic leaders will travel to Orlando, Florida, for the first of its kind 'Convocation of Catholic Leaders: The Joy of the Gospel in America.'  It's a diverse gathering of 3,000 Catholic leaders from across the United States, convened by the bishops to respond to our Holy Father's call to embark on a new chapter of evangelization marked by the 'Joy of the Gospel' (his Apostolic Exhortation, Evangelii Guadium).

The purpose of the gathering is to examine today's concerns and challenges facing the Church and to come home equipped and ready to engage the diocese with the joy of the Gospel in new and creative ways.

You will be able to watch some of it on a live stream at this link.

The LIVE streaming coverage begins Saturday at 2 p.m. and is expected to include all of the plenary sessions including:

Sunday 9 a.m. - 'Charting the Landscape and Mission Field'
