National Eucharistic Congress

Modeled after the Emmaus journey, as we seek renewal in the Church of Buffalo, a delegation of 25 missionary disciples will travel to the Tenth National Eucharistic Congress as part of the National Eucharistic Revival. The Congress will take place from July 17th to 21st at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. Each day will include Mass, time for Adoration and Prayer, Praise and Worship and captivating national speakers in daily “Impact Sessions.”You can be a part of this amazing journey toward becoming a missionary like those on the road to Emmaus! Through a generous grant from the Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo, there will be no cost to participants (apart from personal expenses). Transportation, lodging, at least one meal per day, and the cost of Congress admission will be covered for each person attending.If you are interested in being a part of this experience, please apply (details below). Part of this Emmaus experience is that each “disciple on the road” will nominate another disciple to go with them. All participants are asked to be 18 years of age and be willing to share a room with the person they nominate. Our hope is that each pair will return to our local Church of Buffalo, missionaries proclaiming all they have encountered. Applications are due by Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
