Red Mass 2024

Lawyers, judges, public officials, and legal professionals of all faiths are cordially invited to attend the Annual Red Mass to invoke God’s blessing and guidance in the administration of justice.

The Annual Red Mass will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 12:10 p.m. at St. Joseph Cathedral. The Most Rev. Michael William Fisher, Bishop of Buffalo, will be the principal celebrant and homilist. The Hon. Michael J. Roemer, United States Magistrate Judge, Western District of New York, will offer judicial remarks.

This year, attendees are invited to bring monetary, clothing, household goods (dishes, pots, and pans), and/or books donations for the Society of St. Vincent DePaul. Drop off locations will be at the entrances of the Cathedral.
