For Coordinators

The Dept. of Lifelong Faith Formation supports the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) and the growth of its implementation as envisioned by the Vatican II Council with its adaptation for children. We serve the catechumenate under the Bishop's direction in order to "take steps toward restoring the instruction of adult catechumens or toward adapting it more effectively."(Decree on the Pastoral Office of Bishops in the Church Christus Dominus, no. 14).

Training and formation is available for leaders and teams by request.

The Essentials of Christian Initiation - A Six-Week Virtual Training Course on the RCIA hosted by Liturgical Training Publications begins on Monday, January 28th.  The sessions will be recorded, so if you miss a live session, you can view it at another time.  See all the details.  Through the generosity of a donor, we are able to offer clergy and lay leaders from the Diocese of Buffalo 50% off the registration fee by using the code: C19BUF.  Register now.
