Bishop Malone, chairman of the Committee on Laity, Marriage, Family Life & Youth, and Bishop Cordileone, archbishop of San Francisco and chairman of the Subcommittee for the Promotion and Defense of Marriage, issued the letter below in support of the third annual March for Marriage, asking bishops and dioceses throughout the United States to join them in this endeavor.
In the Diocese of Buffalo, the March for Marriage will be held in conjunction with the annual Rosary Novena for Life on Saturday, April 25, at 8 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima, 500 Parker Ave., Buffalo. Following Mass, all are invited to participate in a silent and prayerful procession to and from a local abortion clinic. Closing prayers will take place outside St. Rose of Lima after the walk back from the clinic.
