Seven Church Visitation
After the conclusion of the Mass of the Lord’s Supper, the Blessed Sacrament is placed on the altar of repose, and all are invited to engage in prayer and adoration. The tradition of entering seven churches to pray before the Blessed Sacrament mimics Jesus’ walk between the Last Supper and His crucifixion.
