Evangelization & Catechesis

The Office of Evangelization and Catechesis supports parish vitality through consultation, training, resources, and facilitation for pastoral planning. We assist parishes, parish clusters, and vicariates in addressing emerging pastoral needs through cooperative strategies. We are dedicated to the Church’s efforts to make disciples and to help people to believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Our office is currently undergoing restructuring to best service the parishes of the Diocese, we encourage you to visit us in the coming months as more information will be available.

We help form and equip leaders as they strive to offer opportunities for growth in faith through education, prayer, reflection, and service by providing resources, training, and support to local parishes and the home. We are here to serve you!

Lifelong Faith Formation

Resource for pastors and parish leaders responsible for faith formation initiatives and sacramental catechesis with adults, youth, and/or children. Our goal is to assist leaders in creating comprehensive plans that form lifelong disciples for Christ.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is for unbaptized adults and children of catechetical age who consciously and freely seek the living God and Jesus Christ. It is marked by four periods: Inquiry, Catechumenate, Purification, Celebration of the Sacraments of initiation and Mystagogy.

Campus Ministry

Campus ministry gathers Catholics on campus for prayer, worship and learning in order that they might bring the light of the Gospel to illuminate the concerns and hopes of the academic community.
